Just wanted to give a review of this rod, maybe it will help someone out.

I ordered 8 of the 7' "MH" Flex's from Meathunter rods. Finally got the Kenner back on the water and went to Texoma for a buddy's bachelor party.

First time using the rods and I will say that they performed flawlessly. They're listed as a MH but are definitely lighter than a MH. Idk how many different rods I've tried for Shad rods (a LOT) but these are by far the best. They load up just about perfectly.

Paired with 5500's, 1.5oz sinker down to a 1/0 Owner SSW NP. Rod construction is very nice as well, especially the guides. The action reminds me of the old US Big Water mediums. I ordered mine with EVA grips over the paracord.

Also used them for box blues at EM on Sunday morning and they did great for that as well.

If you're one of those people like me, who is very particular about your live bait rods, you won't be disappointed with these.

Do you know if they are more or less flex than a 7’ Med GX2?

More flex through the upper 1/3 for sure. They load up very nicely.
