What six hundred dollar reel are you going to get to go with it? Put a Daiwa Exist on it. Call it done. I forgot to mention I am also a big fan of the Megabass Destroyer Windbuster. The fit and finish are excellent.

You never tried a Conquest! I forgot I have fished a conquest 2x. I think it is basiclly the same as an NRX+ but in green.

I’ll be in line the day the Loomis offers a BFS NRX+. I have a Conquest 782c MBR paired with a Shimano Aldebaran. About as close as you're going to get.

I am sure it's a great rod, but if you haven't compared it to a St Croix Legend Elite your work is incomplete...

G Loomis NRX + Inshore 781C and 841C 1/8 - 3/16 oz. BFS Quality I had to look that one up. Never really paid attention to their other lines of rods. That thing may be just the ticket.
