Currently at our Cabin in Eagle Nest NM. The bikers will arrive shortly by the hundreds. They will visit the Vietnam Memorial in Angel Fire this afternoon. We have the honor of serving them dinner tonight at our senior center. In the morning they will head out by 0800 at the latest and be on there way. It is a pretty awesome sight to see, Red White and Blue for about 10 miles a long the highway.

was traveling out west several years ago and kept seeing large numbers of motorcyclists at every scenic spot along the highways...turns out it was week before they gather in sturgis,S.D....talked to couple and they had ridden from Miami,Fl. to Sturgis.....

Twenty years ago my girlfriend and I carried up a couple of dirt bikes up there a few times and rode the logging roads. .We camped in the campgrounds among the tailings of the big mine there. I wonder how much has changed. I really liked the history of the area. Elizabeth town and the gold mining stories.
