We finished the day with 70 fish: 22 Hybrids and 48 white bass. Fish were rather scattered today, we found most of them in 18 fow on main lake structure. Fish did not respond to the splasher much today. We did end up side imaging a really nice school of hybrids. They sat still for us until a troller decided to roll right over them. We caught them for a solid 45 min though. It was quite nice for them to sit still for us for so long. We did wave over a pontoon that had a family on it with several kids. We were able to watch them boat a few hybrids as well. Kids were pumped.

Those are beasts, Eric! Nice going! Looks to be DD hibbies. On the HEYbud?
I've been making the slightly 1/8 oz heavier body and one side larger blade, DC calls it the HeyTodd (LOL), and been catching well. Thanks for sharing your recipe. It's been fun catching good fish on em partyon

Eric, you are a good example to the rest of us fisherman. The joy of catching is for sharing with others! You did what our Lord would do!!!

Wow! Those are healthy fish. You just don't see a lot of hybrids that big. Nice fish!

The extra weight will come in handy when the fish are directly under the boat and you are fishing vertical. I notice my version of the Bo-blade (HeyBlade) drops faster and I can get back down to the fish quicker.

The heaviest fish this year is a 9lb 13oz. We did get a DD when we were desdsticking this winter.

Iโ€™m glad they are working out for you.

When are we planning the Waurika Boys Trip?

Itโ€™s the least I could do compared to what Christ did for us on the cross.

There are a lot of quality fish on the lake. Big white bass and big hybrid. Most of our 22 hybrid were over 6lbs. Thatโ€™s how it is most days. We might catch one hybrid under 18โ€ every 40 fish. Last year I caught a 18.5โ€ white bass. The average white bass we catch is probably 14โ€

Trollers are the devil.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
