Anybody have Battery powered security cameras that work good. I currently have some at the lake house and they will go blank till I go there and remove battery and re install them. They are Arlo's. I have talked to their customer service and that's their answer, to remove batteries and reinstall them. I told them If I was there I would not need the cameras. bang These cameras are about 5 yrs. old but have been doing that a few yrs. Looking to replace.

I use the Blink camera form Amazon. The batteries are good for 2 years. You don't need the data plan, you can use a memory card on the sync module. You will need a network at the place. You can access them through your phone.

I use Blink here at the office, they've been running 2 years on the same batteries. No problems so far.

If they are south facing with a good amount of sun exposure; the Eufy solar cameras are great.
Installed them a few years ago at my sister's place and she has never had to take down the cameras to recharge.
I think the lowest they get is in February when they drop to 75% charge.

Eufy makes multiple models with different utility....some for areas with no wifi (trail cam type) and others for areas with consistent wifi

I've had a Arlo doorbell on a battery and added a refurb camera over the garage with a solar charger. Both worked well. Garage cam died and bought a newer generation camera(Essentials I think) and had to download a new app. New app sucks. If I had to replace them I probably wouldn't go Arlo again but the solar panel might solve your battery problem.
