I like Bill but he came across as a whiny little girl in that podcast. The “gray areas” aren’t gray- it’s all black and white he just doesn’t like the rules as they are currently written. No one cheated.

Chris and his wife are kinda smart- they can bring people on that have that Randy B type shock effect but not get themselves directly attached to it- they know what they are doing.

Really you can sum up his whole position by saying the world has changed and he doesn't like that fact. It was whiney at best and pretty bitter.

One of my favorite parts was when I heard them whining about pre fishing and how they used to do that (when they were single and with less obligations, which made them more competitive)but now they have families and sponsor obligations and they just CANT DO IT, this is what makes them unable to win.

To me that’s the reality of top tier competition, sacrifice and be all in, or get steam rolled.

What do they want? This is like saying it’s unfair when a golfer or other athlete attends extra practice, hires extra trainers, etc. in other sports these folks would have been culled years ago.

In their mind I don't think they really considered it that much of a competition once they got in the club. In every other competitive professional endeavor the older athletes have to work harder to keep up with the young ones entering the sport. The good ole boy club thinks in fishing you should be able to kick back and Cadillac I guess. Old days they hang around long enough, collect sponsor money, get a paid industry gig. Maybe a show etc. Now in addition to getting their azz beat by the young guys the sponsor money has dried up, youtubers are killing their TV show deals. It's just a full blown melt down of their world and they are really mad. I have yet to hear a scoper say they should take power poles away from the shallow water guys..... the electronic companies need to pull any sponsor dollars and deals away from the oldies that bash it. That will shut a few up

Oh, let's not forget the the host of that show has a bunch of videos with his nose all up some scopers rears now he puts out a video just head nodding away

Are they whining though? Or are they just stating the facts? Of course having a family and more responsibilities will cut down time on the water, and of course less time on the water puts them at a disadvantage. I dont get how stating the obvious makes them whining. All of us old guys sit around and lament the "good ol days" before we had responsibilities. The youngsters will too, hopefully one day they will have a family and responsibilities. I wouldnt consider that whining.

Ya, I'm not really getting the whining. I've heard rumblings of Trey (really his family) doing some sketchy stuff. It's all hearsay. I really do believe BASS will do something with FFS next season. Personally I'm a fan of FFS. I really don't care what they do, but I'm getting the vibe something is going to happen.

Let’s not forget that Bill taught these rookies HOW to fish! But they can only win with their FFS and by buying waypoints…Wonder how that works, maybe Trait can make her presence here and help explain it. By the way Trait, we need more of you on the camera and less of your honey bunny.
