Has anyone replaced an axle on a skeeter ezloader trailer? If so where did you get the axle? My boat is a 2016 skeeter fx21 with the original trailer. It has center drop torsion axles under the trailer. Saturday one of the spindle arms shifted up and wedged against the fender. The splines that hold the spindle arm onto the axle are stripped and won't hold the spindle in the correct position. I'm having heck trying to find a replacement axle. EZ loader won't sell me the axle direct. They want to run it through the boat dealer I purchased the boat from. I'm fine with that except for the fact that the boat dealer won't sell me the axle unless they do the install. Not paying those idiots $1000 labor for something I can do in and hour. Just wondering if anyone has purchased a center drop axle direct somewhere. If so let me know where you got it. I'm not sure if the original axles are made by dexter or someone else. I know all the hub components are dexter. Not sure about the actual beam. Thanks for the help!

Last spring I replaced both axles on my 08 Skeeter. I called E-loader, they asked for serial number. And they sent the correct axle directly to me by UPS. I needed just the axle but could have got it fully loaded w/brakes & hubs.

Maybe I need to try and talk to a different person. They told me that I would have to go through their dealers.

I would almost bet a big portion of that $1000 is freight. Have you tried calling other dealers?

Magnum trailers will make you whatever you need with measurements. Might try that.

I called the Midway Arkansas @ (870) 481-5138 (800) 553-7855. Maybe things have changed but I had great service both times I called to order.

I called EZ loader around 5 years ago, gave em my serial number & they sent an axle UPS, no issues.

Maybe call EZ loader back or request another rep, I've ordered bearing seals/parts from them with the serial no. on the trailer with no issues.
