Any daily consumption of multiple Dr Peppers, Camel Lights, and candy bars may be questioned in relation to your joint ailments.

They gotta test for it, blood draw. I got checked for it because I thought I might have it, came out negative. Looks like just degenerative arthritis for me

I do, in my hands and it's getting worse. Several fingers and one thumb are getting harder to bend, Occasional shooting, very sharp pains travel up them. Ring finger om left hand is so swollen that I can no longer wear my wedding ring.

My PCP told me years ago to constantly bend fingers quickly 10-12 times and do so several times daily. That may slow it down a bit.

The only OTC med that really helps is Alleve.

It's a bitch cause I no longer have enough grip to fish. No way I could land one.

Do these for a quick lunch help?

Osteoarthritis starts to set in for most in our mid 20s (based on autopsy studies)
Typically its CMC joints first (where the thumbs meet the wrists), then cervical spine, then lumbar spine, then hips, then knees.

they gave me some kind of medicine, that made the swelling decrease in my knuckles. It went from eraser size lumps to nothing & I am a lot more limber.
I don't know what it is called right now, but I will look it up.

JUST! Ha. I have learned the JUST version of arthritis is a beast. God bless to all who has either. It’s no joke.

Jeremiah 7:28 KJV

But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

Galatians 4 : 16

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

Rheumatoid arthritis is a whole different critter than osteoarthritis.

RA is an autoimmune and inflammatory disease, which means that your immune system attacks healthy cells in your body by mistake, causing inflammation (painful swelling) in the affected parts of the body.

OA is the result of cartilage breakdown causing degenerative bone changes . If you've injured a joint in the past that is a good place to expect OA to set in. Also the spine. Most of us have some type back issues. Also how many of us have made bone jarring rides through rough water down the lake????

Ha. My grandmother was using that back in the early 1970's. She also tried WD 40. Finally got both knees replaced in 1975.
