Sounds good, I cannot justify spending that type of money on rods. Would love to try one, but unless the price range is reasonable I'll pass. Heck a $500-600 rod paired with a 200+ reel, your looking at close to $1000 combos Not in my boat. I can justify anything lol. Trying to sell it to my wife is a lot harder than the justification in my head

Ill buy the PT rod from you! I don't think I will be selling the PT rod anytime soon. I really like it, and probably could not get back out of it what I bought it for. If I got what I paid I might have to think about another NRX+. I got a change to break the NRX yesterday which was a blast.

Ummmm, if you’re wanting a “congratulations”, then congratulations I suppose. Seems awfully weird to make a post that you bought an expensive rod; but After all his threads about it I think it's nice we got some closure on the matter. he’s not done, no way.

Am I missing something here? $715 for one rod? No way it’s worth it. I can get almost 3 Caras for that price point. Yeah I could not do that either if I was trying to fill a boat full or rods. I have a tiny 2 person bass boat so I only own 3 rods right now and probably going to sell one.

Well, the search has ended. After years of searching for a rod better than an NRX+, I finally gave up. The NRX+ is just the best rod on the market. I am writing to all those like me who might want something different, or think they can save money and find the equivalent for cheaper. I preface this by stating I have not tried every rod on the market nor am I an expert, but I have fished a lot of nice rods and none of them have the total package the NRX+ offers.
These are the high-end rods I have fished in the last 2 years are as follows. Kistler Zbone, Dobyns Xtasy, Shimano Poison Adrena, Shimano Expride, Megabass Destroyer, Diawa Steez, G loomis Conquest, Power Tackle now Reneau Tackle. All these are phenomenal rods, and from what I have seen are great companies with great products but IMO the G Loomis NRX+ is just something special.
Look is the NRX+ worth the money? I don't know...? 600 dollars for a rod I admit seems kind of ridiculous. Especially since I am just going to throw the fish right back in the water anyway. Can I catch as many fish on a 100 rod...? probably but if you are a gear enthusiast like me I truly believe it can't be beat.
From the tapers to the truly electric sensitivity to the awesome warranty, I don't think you can find a better rod on the planet. If you want the best and have the money blow go get yourself and NRX+ Welcome to the club. Now go,get a part time job they are like lays. Just can’t eat one I have a bad feeling you might be right. Luckily I can't afford anymore even if I wanted more.

I can justify anything lol. Trying to sell it to my wife is a lot harder than the justification in my head I buy bass pro rods and reels and still have that problem. Every once in awhile she sees what I spend on fishing, its a re occurring argument with no end date.

The question I ask when deciding what to pay for a rod is will I hold one end of the line and shoot the rod into the water to knock a bait loose. If the answer is no then I don't buy it.
