I have tried many places and asked many questions to find a mechanic that just might know what he is doing with this old car of mine.

So far: No Joy!

p.s., It runs and has 101,000 miles on it.

Look! Up in the sky. It's a bird. It's a plane. No, it's an EMP!

That's more Datsun then it is Nissan.

Older brother was a mechanic on those years. Dealership. Sweet car.

However, they didn't rust protection nothing. If myself was standing next to this car. First place I'd look is at the undercarriage.

The engines are bulletproof. It's the chassis that takes the biggest hit on age.

You can probably find parts on rockauto and a shop manual online too. I’ve yet to find a mechanic that I would let touch my truck again. I’ve spent too much time cleaning up after bad mechanic work that I can’t think of one I’d recommend.

I have no advice for a mechanic. Just wanted to state that was a fun car to cruise in. Especially the T tops off!! Back in the day I had a choice between your car and the RX7. I went with the RX7 because the rotary engine was just way too fun!! Until it wasn't and the oil leaks began, LOL.
