A Dobyns 734 or 744 are good ones also.

Falcon Low Rider is another good one.

I’m glad you brought this up. I agree ^^. I tried the champion c-rig rod and hated it. Way too stiff.

G. Loomis 875 JWR 7'3" Xheavy. 50# Power Pro main line and appropriate leader for the water being fished (usually 20# Big Game).

ALX Zolo Dragger (7'4) Works great for both jigs and CR's. I tried the Dobyn's (Champ series) and it wasn't as sensitive as the ALX for about the same price range. Not to start yet another debate on sensitivity (I don't own any Loomis) but I do own several Dobyns and really like them but when comparing the two side by side specifically for dragging a CR, I enjoyed the ALX more.

I use a Duckett Pro 8' XHVY for jigs but pulling a lot of fish out of thick reeds. 7'6" or 7'10 HVY should work well for both.

Several yards. It’s all in the tip and how it loads the weight.

for me it matters what I am using . I like a 7' 6 on both but when using a heaver weight and bait I want mt stiffer rod . When it's a smaller bait and weight i want a 7'6 with fast tip.

I throw a 7'6" Kistler KLX Heavy and a Dobyns 804C. All depends how deep and what cover I'm fishing. Brushpiles or grass it's the 804C. Open water (bridges and rock), the Kistler gets the nod.
