Went to Fayette today with Robert in his custom pontoon boat to see if the bite was progressing and we weren't disappointed. Weather wasn't ideal with winds 10 to 15 mph, cloudy skies and water temperature around 78 degrees, but we figured if we waited to go on Tuesday Vogey would be sitting on the community hole ripping lips LOL. We caught 80 before heading to another honey hole that a bass fisherman had found and was filling his LiveWell up with bluegill. Don't know how long he was there or how many he caught but when he left, we caught another 10 before leaving the lake. All fish were caught and released in water 5 to 10 feet using gulp alive charthouse, starry night, crickets, and emerald shiner.
