I thought Saturday would be the day we would boat over 100 lbs of catfish. Weather was perfect, water conditions were perfect. We set up on a .75 mile i-track which was going nicely until the barge boat captain told us we were not welcome to fish in his river channel. So we had to scoot over to let him pass. At the end of the track the trolling motor decided it was time to stop working. It would not stow properly. So back to anchor management. I admit spot lock and i-track have spoiled me. I haven't had to resort to anchor fishing in over three years. Our first anchor yielded this 15 lb'er. But that was it. After three more stops and no bites, we called it a day.
He is truly a sick individual.

Fishing trips do have some changes. Glad you were able to catch a good one! Solid post and fish.
