Black one was interesting. First one that I have ever caught that color. Other is my Oklahoma PR Carp at 8.4 lbs Both caught on sweet feed/corn pack bait on method leads. I have caught a lot of carp, but I have never seen one as dark as that black one. Well done. I don't know how far away your carp lakes are, but chumming an area with range cubes a couple of days before a trip should really pull them in for you.

I have caught a lot of carp, but I have never seen one as dark as that black one. Well done. Thanks. My first as well....we caught 2 that color this afternoon, that was the larger one. We are about an hour from the lakes we have been fishing. We did the multi day chumming at Copper Breaks and caught 2 real quick, then none for 2 days. It was REALLY cold however and Copper Breaks is almost out of water. Someone told me the dam is cracked there as well.

It is really fun to catch fish that have different colors. I have caught carp that are black, gray, orange, and white. The variations can get interesting Those are some nice fish.
