I have been looking for a large step for the front of my new river boat. Couldn’t find one big enough for my liking, I’m 6’4” and 225 lbs, so I built one. Diamond plate aluminum 1/8”, frame is 1/4” X 1.5” X 1.5” aluminum angle. The top is 10” X 24”.

Thanks guys, always thought I would start a side hustle as I get closer to retirement, still have a way to go. Not sure if building steps is in my future, but had fun doing it.

I'd love to see a pic of your river boat.

I don’t have any pictures from the side. It’s a Blazer 1652 with 40 HP outboard jet boat. Runs 30 MPH with two people and gear. Runs in less than 12” of water.

I added a trolling motor and some sea deck material to the front deck. Found it in Missouri, couldn’t find one like it in Texas for sale.
