Fished Lake Travis today 10a.m.- 3p.m. Caught limit of Stripers, along with 5 magnum Whites... Trolling a Norman DD-22, and a Pink Lady #0 Deep diver, with a #12 Pet spoon... Biggest Striper was 24"...First time limit of Stripers on Travis...
Going to give it a try again tomorrow...Wil try to post again tomorrow night to let ya'll know if there still holding in the same spot... Actually find them today, without a fish finder...Just have a built-in depth finder on my step-dads 23" larson I was fishing in... But will take my portable Eagle fishfinder tomorrow...

Dude, don't tease us. At least give us an idea where to go. That's a big, long hole of water and we won't crowd ya'. I fished Buchanan today and didn't get squat. I need a striper fix.

Well, got another limit yesterday...Biggest fish was 26"...Lost my last DD-22 on first fish i caught trying to pick him up into boat(forgot to bring net and my pink lady...sigh)...And lost my last 2 pet-spoons using a 10# test leader running off hell-bender...So all fish yesterday were caught on a hell-bender, with an 1oz. flat weight rigged up to it...with a chartruese 4" twin-curly tail...Had #15 test on reel and #15 test on leader of about 6' from hell-bender...Pics soon to come...

PM me, and I'll tell you were more details...All I'll say here is, most all fish were caught trolling in 25' deep water...Around the Windy Point-Hippy Hollow area...And I'm guessing my hellbender was running about 15'-20' deep??...

Didn't go Sunday, but went yesterday and got another limit...Biggest 24", just find where the water depth is 25'-30' and try to stick with that depth and you should hook into them...If you have a good depth-fish finder, you should be able to find them no problem...Also, I was using chartruse with sliver-fleck 3" twin-curly tail grubs...Don't know if it really matters, but was using a #1700 series large hell-bender-(color#?? don't know, but was white with black-stripes) with a 1 oz. flat weight rigged to the top eyelet...And a 5-6' line tied to the very back or swivel part of hell-bender with the twin tail grub...Good-luck, Steve
