I call them snails and they are everywhere here. Most importantly is how do you get rid of them.

Try shaking some table salt in their path-

Have heard them called milk snails. They sell snail/slug bait at most home improvement type stores. It works well whenever I get slugs in the garden. Sprinkle that bait out and the slugs are gone quick.

Salt works.

It's a snail. Put salt on it. Then bake it eat it with a croissant and a glass of Bordeaux. Then smoke a cigarette.
