Homelessness is at an all-time high.

Who's to blame/fault for this. Our society, religion, government, etc.

How do we curb it and solve the problem?

I know the TFF has the solution.

All of the above you mentioned.....we all play some part in this whether we want to admit the truth or not

I don't know the solution but society must find one

I know my tax dollars pay for them to make wrong decisions constantly.

Inflation in general is largely to blame but I think inflated real estate pricing has made rent too high for many to afford. I'm seeing more and more people moving to RV living and not for the love of travel.

When I see someone living in a tent or under cardboard it’s hard to process-
Won’t even try to pretend to know any answer-

But I am sure many CHOOSE that lifestyle over staying sober and following some basic rules that would allow them consistent food and some type of home-

So much money has been thrown at this issue that it makes me believe money is NOT the issue-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

Pretty much spot on. I would add, Don't steal others property and don't kill people. But that probably falls under, Don't go to jail.

I am not responsible for anyone else's homelessness, so the statement that "We" are all at fault is not true.

I've talked with and know many folks who have businesses and they say they are hurting for help. There is work to be had out there. Plenty of it.

Mental illness is a major factor.

Unfortunately, it will never happen, but if 90% of families had both parents in the home, 75%+ of this stuff probably wouldn't exist. If we mandated everyone finish high school or go into the military, this would be a start, but one party wants to keep some under control to stay in power. So we are forever stuck with this problem.

We've always had these folks. Some are mentally ill, others are bums, or alcohol and drug abusers. Winos and junkies or just bums - people that prefer not to work.
Years ago, society handled the issue with wisdom.
We had State Hospitals for those that were ill. The ACLU sued to close those. They are now among us.
Vagrants were arrested and sent to the "Pea Patch" in Dallas. It was a farm where indigents could work to earn their keep. Later they were put to work on road crews to save the City and County money for their incarceration.
Many would just hop a train and leave the area.

Today, since we have so many morons running these cities, none of that happens.

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

Well shoot. This one is thick.

I would say addiction and substance abuse is at the forefront of the problem, along with mental health issues.

Addiction is scary, some people are BORN addicted to drugs, because their mom was using while pregnant, it is really sad and messed up.

It’s easy to point out what you should do, it much harder to come up with solutions to make it extinct.
