Guys, if you don't like throwing big, deep cranks because it is such a work out you ought to take a look at this reel. I bought the 4.7:1 a couple weeks ago, made a few casts with it last week but really gave it a ride today. I must have made 200 casts with it using either a Norman DT-22 or a Rapala DT-16. I can honestly say cranking those big, deep cranks was about as hard as cranking a Bandit 100 Series or a Trap with a high speed reel. I just wish I had gotten it sooner!
(Didn't catch anything with it, but really didn't care-I just wanted to see how it handled those deep cranks, and did it ever!)

I with they made a LH model...
I wish I could find a LH Lews like these new ones are modelled after for that matter...those were some good reels.
