I have won 2 pairs of sunglasses and a go pro black. did you guess the exact weight and win two pairs of glasses from Bass Champs? Sunglasses was Bass Champs, gopro was a big bass tournament on Conroe. Odds are against you but you will never win if you don't play.

why do you think they put this offer on this BASS FISHING forum?....people who bass fish and frequent bass fishing forums are more likely to enter bass tournaments ....and....the more tournament enties you have,the more money you make....are you starting to understand just a little of what this whole thread is about?
Are you one of the guys that struggles with the question: “what weighs more, a pound of feathers or a pound of gold”? Do you really think BC pays for those “free giveaway” sunglasses.

Are you one of the guys that struggles with the question: “what weighs more, a pound of feathers or a pound of gold”? Do you really think BC pays for those “free giveaway” sunglasses. He'd really have a lot of material if he saw all the free stuff they give away at events and the championship. He would complain that the people closest to the buckets should still get a free rod in the flipping contest. I'd put money on that he complains about the "everyone gets a trophy" mentality but is on here saying the closest to the weight should get glasses too...

beartrap, honest question, why does it matter so much to you if it's exact weight or closest to winning weight?
either way you have to be lucky, no skill involved, like the lottery, every now and then someone wins.
are you just saying they should give away a pr. on here for every event?
it's not the trail that pays for them, they are part of the sponsors advertising budget and a fraction of what they pay to be one.
not trying to trash ya but it just seems strange.

not trying to trash ya but it just seems strange. it doesn't matter at all to me.....actually having spent years in market research and spending advertising funds, i was thinking that giving away a pair of nice sunglasses was an innovative and cost effective way to call attention to one of your upcoming events.Also realized that having to predict eactly to the 100th of a pound the winning weight was going to make it almost impossible to win and I question the wisdom of that....we've found out they have been doing it this way for 15 years and I'm sure there are more but so far we have only heard about two pairs of glasses being won....

Next time McDonalds has their monopoly game going, I am going to insist that Pennsylvania Av should be close enough to Park Place to win. Why should it have to be exact??? I bet they are losing a lot of business by being so strict.
