The problem is that the PGA Tour and PIF, which backs LIV Golf, didn’t have an actual deal—just an agreement to eventually reach a deal, which hasn’t happened yet. Until then, the PGA Tour and LIV Golf are going to keep operating as completely separate entities.”

850 million would probably get you past any moral issues you had with the deal...... I would definitely eat a lot of crow for that kind of money 💰  .

To be honest I think there is a roll for LiV. It shouldn't threaten PGA, it should threaten senior tour. I can easily see the bigger name players heading that way in their early 40s. Take a big payday, less pressure. Still play the majors. Nobody watches senior tour anymore.

I guess Rory doesn’t think $170m he is worth is quite enough to get by on so take the Saudi money and play the unwatchable events. It’s not like these guys are needing the money they are already very wealthy. I tried to watch one of the LIV events it was worse than bad the teams setup is ridiculous. I will never root for any LIV players that turned their backs on the tour that made them wealthy just to take Saudi dollars.
