And now it sounds like 70 of the top guys are not happy with the treatment they're receiving at BPT... Now they're stuck with a real dilemma... Keep getting bent over at BPT or hit the AAA of bass fishing and hope you can carve out a living... Dan

I'd say McKinnis and the people at BASS have been vindicated... Everything BD and the brass over at MFL/FLW/BPT had promised is falling apart... No tournament fees... Oh well... They'd be reality show stars... Oh well... The housewives were gonna flock to their TV's to watch them catch 100 dinks a show.. Oh well... Every fish counts... Oh well... Your best 5... Oh well... Every fish counts again... We'll see how long that remains the deal... That BASS was raking in the cash hand over fist and refusing to share it with the fisherman... Oh well... BPT and the anglers are finding that the fishing industry isn't a gold mine flush with cash. That's why they're slashing employees, cutting the field to whatever number it's gonna ultimately be, maybe after 5 or 6 tweeks... what is being "treated unfairly" mean? .....let's look at the big picture...BPT guys are at dale Hollow fishing for $900,000. this week and they have 8 more tournaments including two with no entry fees plus their team tournaments this year........they have 30 plus national sponsors and provide the fishermen (and their sponsors) with 5 hours of TV exposure each week....they have provided millions of dollars in winnings to their fishermen the past 6 years and even more important,huge increases in TV exposure which has translated into more millions in sponsorship dollars for the fishermen...
prior to 2018 professional fishermen had two choices,FLW or BASS and almost no TV exposure.......now they have three choices.....What is unfair about that?........

Ask them, thats why they said they left. Now it looks like they cant even land on a solid set of rules or format to fish under or a goal to reach for to stay in. Me personally, i think i would believe its unfair to be promised one thing, then watch the rules change, rule breakers be glorified, etc while i had done all i needed to in order to stay in the mix and then get cut anyway. Oh yea, and pay entry fees, format changes, etc along the way.

But they were promised by MLF/FLW/BPT brass they'd always be on top... Well maybe they should figure out what grass is greener trial and error will make them successful.
I enjoy BPT and different formats work for and against some. They will choose which one they like.
