This might be the first football post I agree with Patriot. I’m going to bow out and let cow fans and JJ figure it out.

I heard it on ESPN national radio this morning. I agree he’s not going anywhere. I love seeing the drama in big D…everyone likes watching a train wreck. I don't think the drama is "in big D" so much as it is shixt stirrers and attention seekers in the in the media wanting clicks. So what’s the delay on extending Lamb? It is newsworthy and btw what are Jerry’s plans on replacing your starting C and LT? I guess if y’all don’t win the SBnext year you go to a complete rebuild and hope Lamb and Parsons are “All In”… But, all you are doing is responding to sports news reports ... period ... and calling it drama out of the Cowboys front offices when it is really just click-bait. I thought you were a more sophisticated sports fan than that. Screw the spotrzzz shock jocks ! I don't know what they're going to do with the OL and frankly don't give much of a damn anymore. Lamb negotiations are about normal for how Dallas does things. And you, a Pitt fan talking about Dallas winning a SB next year????? Where ya been the last quarter century+????? I'm sure you can see that this is really a big nuthin burger !
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

I listened to NFL Radio a bit today while out running errands. I enjoy that station as there is no bias. A couple of forner GMs made some great points when they said that if Jefferson or Chase re-sign before Lamb that it's only gonna cost the Cowboys more. Same with not setting the market now with Parsons. They also pointed out that you cannot have three players account for 50% of your salary cap and be as competitive as a team as you need to be. One other good point they made is giving validity to the things Schultz and other former players said about the atmosphere at the training facility being like a circus. People on tours watching the players lift etc is a huge distraction. They said they think it directly affects the way they ay come playoff time because there is not a focus on the game but rather on maximizing theexposure of the team.
Maybe they are wrong but it was interesting to hear especially without any bias etc. It made sense.

He is going to get most of the snaps in all the pre season games, they traded for him for a reason, they sure have been quiet about him ever since they got him, should be interesting around training camp.

It’s in the SPORTZZZ news Bob. Are you mailing in next year already?

Pretty much. I'll watch them when it is convenient but not getting emotionally invested. I'll see how that goes. I'll be a classic bandwagon fan if they become a real contender but prolly won't have to worry about that. Definitely not getting involved in the gametime threads here which is a near 20 year tradition for me.

Rush should just draw his salary until contract is up and sign somewhere else.
