Can't say that I am thrilled by the hire, his days of glory may be in the past.

Weird decision by Arkansas and Calipari. He’s a slime ball and can’t coach Xs and Os when it matters. Like a lot of older coaches, he can’t and won’t be able to navigate NIL and transfer portal, either. His best days are behind him (when he was pioneering one-and-done) and controversy/NCAA violations have followed him his entire career.
Arkansas needs a younger coach that wants to make Fayetteville his home. Arkansas’ baseball coach has been there for like 30 years. They need someone similar for basketball. Calipari ain’t it.

I think most knew that Cal wouldn’t be at Kentucky much longer so Beard would have probably left us high and dry if it came open. Will Wade was a hot name too but the board of trustees wouldn’t support it
