I think it’s common to have success with a very specific color and want to stock up on that color. For me it used to be ghost minnow lucky craft traps, I caught some good fish on them, and just HAD to have that color, but in the end, obviously all sorts of colors will work.

I’ve heard guys really get on tangents at the shop about senko colors, laminates and all sorts of stuff…just part of the game I guess.
Looks like oxblood for sure.
I think when they are on fire color doesn’t really matter to much except for confidence. My last excursion on Sandlin I started out throwing an SK 1.5 square bill in red and broke it off on a big fish and I was killing them on it. I didn’t have another red one so I tied on a SK Red Eye Shad in red, fished t for about 15 minutes and never got another bite. I took that off and tied on another SK 1.5 square bill in sexy shad and started catching them again instantly.
Found the bag but the label is rubbed off.

I have slayed them on Kinami oxblood Flash stick baits (same thing as senkos) this time of year also.

Darn it; it is a great color….I bought as many as I could when Kinami (Mr Yamamoto son’s company cleared everything out in 2014? )

Think I still have a few packs left.

This pack may be that old or older. I think I was given these at a tackle show.

I actually agree with this. Remember, Yamamoto uses a lot of salt in their formulation. When the bait gets bitten, the salt can come to the surface and lighten up the darker colors.

I too agree that is isn’t oxblood.

If you watch Randy’s video he will show you how to roughen them up to look more natural.

I think yum dingers are a great buy, if fish are active, they’ll bite a dinger just as often, and they’re more durable…

Color matters to the bass. I have seen that time and time again over the years.

Not oxblood at all. Light green pumpkin is called watermelon.
