Thanks for all the comments and compliments. Going to try them out this evening. I have a Trokar 7/0 EWG Hook on it. I haven’t mentioned the presence of a generous hook slot in the belly of this lure. I was there at the Houston Fishing Show last year when my son started working with the guy that makes soft plastics moulds. Pretty cool to see this all come together!

The "bluegill" is a good likeness of up north yellow perch. I'd buy a sack or 2 for a buddy of mine.

He will be happy to work with you on some baits. He hand-paints the details and then pours the rest of the body. He can match your picture, I’m sure.
