Would this work?

Say you have 1 through 5 assigned a weight. Then you want to cull the number 3 fish. Add new fish to number 6 and then delete number 3? will that give you the right total?

Yes that can work for culling purposes but it will still keep that fishes weight in the grand total section. Youwillbe showing 5 fish at let’s say 15lbs, but the grand total is 6 fish for say 18 lbs.

What a strange system. Why 8 fish? I guess I’ve heard of 6 fish tournaments somewhere on the east coast. Sorry you’re having to deal with that after paying $100 for a scale

I knew it had 8 slots, I was just think it had a selection to how many fish you wanted to keep up with.
This handheld model and the Pro series which is $200 is the official sponsor of the MLF series which how it is made works perfect. It keeps a running tally.
No biggie really I’ve gotten to the point I’m finding it hard to catch 5 keeps these days. I’m taking a snack break, looking at my graphs too much and always changing out lures to the wrong ones.

I hear ya! I still use an old digital rapala scale, and try to keep the math in my head.

Just shake n bake that minnow! That’s all you need!
