As someone said, these are young millionaires. They do stupid things.
I've got a friend who works in the front office with the Cowboys. He has said multiple times that one of the biggest priorities of his job is to protect the players from themselves. The bottom line is most are not rocket surgeons. Take a juiced up 20 year old with a million dollars in his pocket, then give him a 6 month off season and bad things can happen pretty quickly.

It's an idiotic leap to claim Rashee Rice having a street racing wreck reflects on the character of the entire Chiefs roster. Three of the Cowboys players I mentioned were drafted and retained on the roster by Jerry Jones. The other two, Rentzel and Septien, were drafted by the Landry Cowboys. What is that supposed to mean, that Tom Landry was running an outlaw organization? Even if we throw in Hollywood Henderson, that's an absolutely absurd characterization.
As someone said, these are young millionaires. They do stupid things. Anyone remember Shante Carver? Think his vehicle was wrecked in the same 24 hour period as Eric Williams. At next practice a reporter asked about it “no comment “. Luckily no one was hurt in that one.

He's going to need to keep his nose clean and earn a big free agent contract over the next few years because he's going to pay out a lot of his current rookie deal.

Both of those cars retail would cost him half his yearly take home pay alone if he had to pay for them fully. That on top of lawyers and fines and whatever else comes from this could put a nice dent in his finances. Especially if he tends to spend most of it and doesn’t have anything put back.

Lol. I just read where he left a copy of the Chief's playbook in one of the vehicles. Wonder which NFL owner is fixing to make a considerable donation to the Dallas PD.

WAWI says a million dollars isn’t that impressive anymore.

He knew that police were going to show up. Police have been shooting and killing people of color and he was afraid that he would lose his life. He’s worked too hard to achieve his dream of making it into the NFL and helping out his family. If the police didn’t have a track record - especially lately - of abusing people of color, he wouldn’t have been forced to leave the scene. The Dallas Police need to look at themselves and how they police before pointing their fingers in judgment of Mr. Rice.
