I’ve always wanted to try them but never have. Are you supposed to trim the ends off them before you eat them?

Sahlens #1 but hard to find in the south. Some Publix stock them. Boars Head #2 pork and beef - Kroger. The all beef not nearly as good. Berks #3 - PA, NJ area. Pork/ beef blend best. All beef pretty good too.

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

The best hot dogs I ever consumed were always at my deer lease. Me and my son still talk about the time we had them for breakfast cooked with a wire hanger over a blazing fire on opening morning in '92. I ate 4 that morning. I`ll bet there isn`t half as many brands of hot dogs as there were when I used to manage a meat dept. for Winn Dixie and then Brookshires ('87-'06). I`ve eaten Nathan`s and Hebrew's both and they are both good, but my favorite is Bryan beef hot dogs. I leave mine on the grill until they are totally black / burnt. BAR-S hot dogs- I used to sell them for .69 cents all day long with a 30% plus profit margin. Bought 100 cases at a time to be able to sell them that cheap. I had several customers buy a case at a time and feed them to their cats and dogs. To this day, I`ve never eaten one.
