Can you set the scales to just have 5 fish weighed?
I have read through the instructions and looked on line but came up with nothing.
This is my only complaint because I do not need 8 fish being weighed, plus it messes up my bag weight with 8 fish.

I've watched that video before, It never tells you how to set it for a 5 bass limit. It does tell you how to weigh, click add, click selct then add again. That may be the only option to do it is a manual setup.What i was hoping for was a setting that took away the selection for fish 6 -8

You just select 1 through 5. Never select 6,7 or 8 when you are entering a fish

Page 9 is where it talks about weighing fish in a tournament. It never gives us an option to do anything but the 8 fish.

This is what I am thinking is the only solution also. I'm not sure how the Pro version does, you may can do it there since you have a phone app to set up a good many options.

Never used them but I'd imagine it's like the Rapala, where when your culling you just overwrite your smallest fish weight with new fish weight.

Unfortunately, the standard smart fish scale does not have the ability to change how many weight cells are shown. If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to reply to this email and I would be happy to help.

Makes me even more glad that I bought the pro version. It's been the easiest to use and probably the best scale I've owned. If you need a good culling set the Bubba set is top notch too.

Just because it displays 8 doesn’t mean you have to use all of them. When you weigh a fish and lock it in you can select which one of the 8 you want it in. If there’s already a weight there it will over write it. Not too difficult to figure out

But if you notice when it tallies up the bag weight it includes those fish you have already caught, you will not have the correct bag weight for those 5 fish.
I mean it’s not a huge problem, ihave a nice culling system on my phone, plus I can do a quick adding up if need be. Just would have been nice to have all that included. The Pro series may have that. I’m not fishing all that many tournaments this years anyways just some charity ones which whatever I win in money I will give back to the charity.
