I guess I just dint care enough to care. I've all kinds of rumors about buying food and gas. I just let things happen and handle them then. Just like Y2K, a lot of people were freaking out. Monday is just another day to me.

If that's so, there will be a million plus folks who paid for airfare, hotels, telescopes and cameras with special filters, lots of restaurant food, etc., who will be terribly upset at you hop for screwing up their once in a lifetime deal!

Who’s fishing or golfing? I’m fishing. Will my Costas work? Go fishing, I bet it'll be an epic day. Please don't look directly at it, you could burn your retinas. I heard you need to stack something like 4-5 pairs of sunglasses just to be safe.

Fortunately it's forecast mostly for monday evening long after the eclipse is over.
A week ago they had forecasted solid rain Sunday through Monday and it's slowly improved since then.
