All,
We have 2 condo rental properties on a very popular party lake in Missouri. The city actually adopted an ordinance that condo complexes can no longer have open flame grills on the decks. Pellet grills are not allowed either.
The only approved grill is an infrared.
Anyone know anything about these grills? Where the heck do I find one?
Thanks
NattySnax

What about an outdoor George Foreman grill? No flame with those.

I know nothing about those.
Can you store it on the deck and roll it off when using it?. This is a common law here with multi family buildings as well.. Don't think anyone ever follows it though.

You have it backwards. Dec 31st thru Jan 1st.

I don't want to be in Mo. in either of those months much less those days

get an electric and call it a day, infrared requires propane or ng which I can see being a problem in a condo.

go electric and just increase the nightly 20.00 to cover the added expense. be double sure it is on a gfci protected circuit.

Good Lord, we're all going to be stuck with an Easy-Bake oven before long.

I have an infrared grill that I've had about 5 years. It's a gas grill with a metal plate full of holes under the grates. It does not flare up. The juice from the meat gets on that metal plate and smokes. We really like it. We got it at Lowes. I don't understand why you can have infrared but not a gas grill.

Ironically, California is banning all gas appliances soon. Propane will no longer be available, even at your house. Saw a couple stories on it today. They are so freakin backwards.... Pushing more electric while their gris is in shambles. https://news.yahoo.com/los-angeles-ban-gas-stoves-234732096.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall
