Those of you that fish boat slips in marinas, how did you go about putting fish attractors in? And what did you put in? I'm told I can drop attractors, just no actual brush. If you had to do it stealthy, how did you do it?

Sounds like they mean hung from the slip vs. just dropped in, ie: removable. Porcupines (Google them) work fine but aren’t the cheapest, but you can save by buying the ‘host’ only and supplying your own pvc. Pretty much anything else, even plastic chairs, with decent bulk will work.

When I was in the slip with Ernest the BEST spot I could hit was some old plastic chairs that were hanging with weight below them.

I would suspend brush at silver lake back in the day. I would use rope that was meant to be in water and would paint it black so no one would notice. Suspend it down 15 ft or so and it was money. Man, I miss those days LOL

Me and WillieFindum kept a slip rented at Ray Hubbard for lots and lots of years. We made attractors out of everything you could think of. We hung a bunch of willow one time and the beavers promptly chewed that all up. We finally honed in on trimmed up pecan limbs embedded in a dish pan of sackcrete. We dropped some of the tall ones to the bottom, and hung a bunch more with solid core 12 ga. black wire. That wire disguised pretty well after it aged a bit. When a slip on our dock opened up, we'd hang some in those as well. Those pecan limbs worked about the best of anytning we tried.
