What are you talking about? He has won a BASS Open, a FLW Tour event, made the Classic, Has been in Top 20 in about half tge MLF events he has fished and Top 10 in about a 1/3 of the events. He has won a pile of other regional wins.
Pretty strong resume for a guy that "can't" fish.

Besides Connell and Wheeler who at BPT is winning all the time? Same with a coupke at BASS, who else is winning all the time?

You're impressed by that? He's gone the drama video route, that tells you everything you need to know.

Yeah. I am impressed by the wins and his finishes career wise. It proves he is not some spare. Dude can fish.

Yeah, so can about 100 other guys. Would you put him in the top 100 of all the pros out there?

Sure I'd but him the Top 100... There are too many to names on both tours that haven't won squat but still hang on... James won on both tours, not too many can say that... Dan

Not many guys have wins in both leagues. Like I said let's not act like he is some spare he is not among the greats but he has enough success that he is not just some random guy that can't fish either.

Watson has an Open win, which is a amateur event $50k…Classic appearance, which a result of the single open win and not an independent acoomplishment…FLW invitational…I guess this was a pro level win based on $100k payout so there is one pro level win. I mean it is one more pro level wins than Swindle I guess if you look at it that way.

Other than the above he has a pretty weak overall resume in fishing,

He is not a great fisherman stat wise and don’t see why it’s such a stir. Other than of course the Duckett hate. But there was plenty of that prior to Watson. I guess kicking the dog on the way out the door gives him some street cred.

I’m not a a fan and pretty sure nobody ever picked him for a fantasy team for a reason.

The FLW Tour Invitationals consisted of the Top 100 in points from the FLW Tour that year plus the top 5 coanglers in points from the FLW Tour. He also won 2 PAA events.

What a stupid comment. All pro level anglers are good fisherman. They wouldn't be there if they weren't.

All you need to know is I beat Charles Reagan in a Bass Champs I-match one time on Lewisville about 20 years ago. So outside of about two things we are about the same…

Remember when MLF started and their fans on here claimed they were beyond a shadow of a doubt the best 80 fishermen in the world? Now when they leave, the same ones claim they weren’t any good to start with lol.

Well done sir.

No need to start asking for fishing resumes because of an opinion. Regardless as usual I disagree with Emorydog but he’s by far one of the coolest dudes over 50 around and a fine cook at that. But still wrong about BPT
