While fishing yesterday my 3 year old Ultrex 112 started making noises. It didn’t make the sound constantly but only occasionally. It sounds like the prop is hitting on a limb or some type of debris under water. It will make that noise for a couple of minutes and then stop for a while. There was nothing in the water such as timber or weeds. Anybody ever experienced anything like that?

I would suggest taking off prop see if there is any line or obstructions possible behind it?

Make sure it’s not catching on a loose livescope cable

When mine did that I had ruined the backside of the prop.

I would start with changing fhe prop out. It’s probably busted at fhe notch where fhe shear pin goes in

There is a ring bonded to the outside of the prop to take up room to match the 36V motor. They come loose sometimes, you can double bubble them back on. If you take the prop off you will see..

Or hitting the broken livescope transducer like mine did. BANG BANG BANG BANG!!

No wonder I can’t see my bait and fish. Thing was flopping in the water! Haha.

The prop sounds like it is out of balance. Mine does the same thing on certain speed settings. It’s calls up the white bass.

Slewfoot: You were Spot On! It was the plastic slot for the pin that was damaged. Thanks for all the suggestions.
