Years ago weren’t BASS pros provided a small tackle box with lures they had to use in the tournament? Seems I heard that on a podcast, this could’ve been 50 years ago though.

That's pretty crazy but it may even the playing field a little I guess.

I want a tournament trail where only pistol grip rods are available and the only lure you can use is the helicopter lure.

Isnt this the whole argument? Many people feel FFS crosses the line of sportsmanship .. just because your opinion is that does not, doesnt mean their opinion is wrong ... if an elite series angler had to pick one, live bait or live scope to compete, which are they choosing?
