Any current reports from Amistad , headed down on Thursday and wanted a place to start, will be fishing Mexico and Texas. PM please, thanks in advance.

Find the grass, find the fish. Exactly.....hopefully still some grass left after the drawdown.....look especially around the Mexican Islands.....

Arms off the main lake - Tx or Mex side. Beat the bank with a shaky head, drop shot or wacky worm. Throw right on the shore and slowly work back. We caught a lot on bluff walls on the drop. Watermelon colors. I also know guys throwing a spinner bait on the same walls caught fish.

Amistad Report, closest thing would be fishing on the moon!!! Caught plenty of fish in 3.5 days, size was down for us about every 10nth fish would measure, we threw everything from drop shot to large Texas rigged senkos and caught fish. We found no grass, fished from Diablo to MM28 and Mexico .

Hope you had a good time though.....scenery there is hard to beat!
