There was a Black lab showed up at my place at the lake last night. He will not leave. He looks to be well kept with a red collar. Minds good, He will sit, lay, and shake hands/Paws. Collar but no tags. Won't leave but keeps wanting to play with my dog. I'm 26 miles from town so IDT he wandered from there. a few houses around here but none that have been looking for their dog that I know. People put a phone number on your dogs collar.

Feel his neck for a microchip if you have not already. Feels like a grain of rice stuck under his skin.

Seems there's a lot of this going recently. Not sure what's the cause, but I'll be damned if we're not seeing / hearing about escaped dogs daily around here. I sure wish owners would be responsible for their pets.

Next Door is good for lost dogs in the city.

Those are fur babies if they are on next door.

Call a local vet. They may have heard about this missing dog.

If he's not gun-shy and will retrieve you may have a winner here.

It won't help find the owner, but if you put on camo or pull out a gun and he gets excited, he's definitely been hunted with.

Last October had one adopt us. Just showed up in the pasture and stayed. Used the social medias to find it's owner, none showed. Gave our other obnoxious dog someone to play with. Finally took him to the vet, perfect health so had him chipped and now he's family. You got a pic of him?

Sometimes dogs just adopt you... sounds like you've been adopted!
