If it has time to warm to body temp, you could have done better the night before. If it bounces right back out, still icey cold, you did an admirable job of tying one on.

As far as hangovers, keep some super B complex on hand. Assuming you can keep a couple down and large glass of water down before you go to sleep....plastic sheets may also be a good idea....I've never woke up with a headache. Woozy feeling blah, but no headache.
