 Corpus Christi area inshore guide

I will be in the Corpus Christi area on business in late April. I have one day, April 26, available for fishing. I will appreciate recommendations for a fishing guide for that date. Thanks--

IF (big IF) you can book Jay Wadkins, he's the king of the coastal bend. Artificial only, and he hunts big trout. You'll learn more from Jay than years of trying to figure it out yourself. http://www.jaywatkins.com/

From what I can tell, it appears that Wadkins is more into wade fishing. I should have mentioned in my original post that I'm in my mid 80s. I can still get around a boat pretty well, but my wade fishing days are over.

I gotcha.
Might drop Jay a line anyway and see what/who he suggests. There's a crowd of guides out of corpus/rockport, most are good, some are duds, we want to avoid the duds.
