Can you buy Shimano and Diawa products from Japan cheaper? IF so what website do you use? Are they the exact same products? Is it worth it?

Many are the same products, with different names, but there are a few that may have different handles, etc.

Worth it? Possibly if you're into the aftermarket and keeping them to flip. Some reels are just more valuable than others.

I’ve bought several Diawa reels from Digitaka. Much cheaper and delivery only took a few days.

I’ve bought about 2 dozen reels from Digitaka over the last few years. They usually have the best prices and are on my doorstep within 3 days. Actually got one in 30 hours from the time I ordered it. Tackle Warehouse should take a lesson from them.

Digitaka is my addiction.

So are some of the products on Digitaka the same with different names than in the US?

Example, I see they have a variety of Abu Garcia reels, I don't see the Revo STX though. Are one of the reels listed the same thing just a different name?

Yes just Japanese only reels

Digitaka is legit! Be careful though, if you spend over 2500 you have to pay import taxes

Very good deals to be had with Digitaka. I saved almost $300 on my Certate. The only downside is there is no warranty coverage in the US if you purchase from Japan.

I occasionally see high end Diawa and Shimano reels new in box listed on the marketplace here for considerably more than Digitaka. I always wondered if guys are ordering from Japan and reselling for a profit.
