Just returned from 4 days at Baccarac. AWESOME fishing! My partner and I averaged total of 60 plus fish per day. And the big ones were bitting!! My big fish was 9lbs 11 oz. followed by a 8 lb 5 oz. Numerous fish in the 5 lb. to 7 lbs. My partner caught a GIANT at 12 lbs 8 oz. plus numerous 5 to 8 lber's. Best baits were: Flukes, swing head jigs with strike king magnum craws plus 10" worms. A few nice fish on cranks, no topwater. Amazing trip at the lodge as there were only a total of 6 anglers there.

Congrats! Sounds like the trip of a lifetime. I would love to go there one day. Was safety a concern? I've heard that it's not that safe down there.

No concern on safety and never felt uncomfortable. Fly into Culiacan, lodge picks you up in a shuttle at the airport ( you never go into the city) for a three hour trip to the Lodge. Mostly on Toll Roads. This was my 12th trip there and never have had a problem
