I have not fished Little Elm Creek, though I have fished Doe Branch and Panther Creek a bit. Access to these creeks can be a bit difficult given a large amount of brush and private land along certain parts of the creeks, but the fish do go up them (you just have to find them in the right holes). Hart's Branch that runs through Little Elm along Eldorado is also pretty good though depending on the spawn you may have to work a bit to find the fish. Do not neglect the little holes that are only 2-4 ft deep and less than 6-10 ft in diameter. You can usually pick off a couple sandies there. Cottonwood Branch is also decent, though like the first creeks I mentioned, access can be tricky due to thick brush. You don't have to worry about private land as all the land near Cottonwood Branch (for the last couple miles before it reaches the lake) is owned by Army Corps of Engineers or the cities of Little Elm/Frisco(to my knowledge). In this creek though, you may have to work to find the fish, but there are definitely some honeyholes if you get close enough to the lake. The problem with Cottonwood Branch is that past a certain point, the water gets so shallow (before getting deeper again) that fish may have a hard time passing further upstream unless there is a serious rainstorm to bring the water up. Anyway, there's my 2 cents.
