First Hummingbird arrived today and I assume he is the โ€œScoutโ€! We have 4 feeders loaded with more to follow! A shock is the mesquites leafing out this early. The Cropdusters spraying mesquite with Tordon in the old days had to wait for the go ahead from Dow which was tied to the mesquites being in full bloom and I seem to remember that being around May 1.
