Sunday we headed west and fished Amistad and did some pre-scouting for the Border Bass Battle this coming Saturday. When we got to the lake there was a tournament for veterans. The day was a little windy, but fishable. We found the longeared-redbreast. There was a few shallow, but most were in about 16fow. It's suppose to rain on Saturday hopefully it holds off till we're off the water๐.

Those bass look like they need some home cookin... Nice color however & good start to the sunfish season...good luck in the tournament.

Those bass look like they need some home cookin... Nice color however & good start to the sunfish season...good luck in the tournament. Maybe the bass are trying to stay in shape๐คญ. Thanks Vogey for the luck!!
