Anyone have recommendation in the Mansfield area for boot resoling and repairs? I've google fu'd but would love to hear some first hands before I walk into a drycleaners/boot repair or barber/boot repair place.....
TIA

My experience has been that if you find a place that also makes custom boots, you'll get better quality work. Of course you may also have to pay a bit more for the repairs.

I remember when every little town had at least one shoe shop. You didn't get new shoes back then, you got your old ones either re-soled or half -soled. The metal taps you could get put on the toes or heels of your shoes were cool.

It's not that close to you. But I've used Cobblestone on Camp Bowie in Ft.Worth. They did an outstanding job on 3 pair of boots for me. If I'm getting it done I would be willing to drive to get it done right.

If I'm getting it done I would be willing to drive to get it done right. I used them last year to repair a zipper on one of my snake boots. Got one use out of them before that zipper separated. Almost $50 down the drain because they wouldn't warranty their work.
