I'm thinking of building a boat storage very close to O.H. Ivie. Was wondering if any of y'all know how much storage rates are in that area.

I rented boat storage for several years up until 2019 when I bought a place there, paid $50 a month for annual or $60 a month for month to month. Not sure what current rates may be.

I have 2 rented there and have had for a few yrs. I pay 600 a yr for each. The rentals run in cycles I have seen months that there are several unrented and months that they are full. I go by the padlocks on the doors. Hope this helps.

At the rate the lake is dropping it might not be a wise investment unless you already own the land. Could be years or decades before it has another boom. Traffic this year is way down

Oh wow. Didn't realize it was only $50 / month. With the current cost of building materials and labor I may hold off. I do own the land but have also noticed the decline in traffic.

Thanks for the replies.

Build one in Dallas or another major market in the state.

12'x30' fully enclosed with electricity go for $175+ a month

The only thing that hasn’t declined out there is the price of breakfast

30% increase in rent really pinned the tail on the party hog too.

Spent 38$ @ that place for 2 meals and the only steak was fingers! If Concho had been open I’d have saved money.

2 bacon and egg burritos, no cheese and a cup of coffee to go $16. Should have stopped at stripes before I left town.

I was half asleep Saturday morning and got 1 taco and coffee and just paid and went to the ramp. Later talking to a friend I learned it was 6 bucks for the taco. Ouch! I stayed @ Concho and left before they opened up, not gonna do that again, I'll eat there from now on.
