The warm weather has started garage sale season early.  Go get some deals. I picked up these 3 rods this morning. I got a 1960 fiberglass Wonder Fly rod, a Montague bamboo trolling rod with a JC Higgins reel, and a never used (surprise) Ovis Clearwater 5wt for $20. It was a surprise because I bought the Orvis rod sight unseen in the rod sock. When he said he would take $20 for all three rods I didn’t even open the fly rod till I got home. Probably put a reel on the wonder rod and give it to a young angler. Put the tolling rod in my fishing room. Put an Okuma reel on the Orvis rod and go find a fish record with my first Orvis rod. I like the Clearwater; I have several of the first rendition of them. It's a lot of rod for the money.

I like the Clearwater; I have several of the first rendition of them. It's a lot of rod for the money. Good to hear. I want to try it out in Colorado.
