Yep, that FFS is the devil and it’s causing all kind of records, since nobody watches it. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2024/03/full-35324-216957-img_8573.jpeg)

These young dudes are drawing the age group they are at into BASS and overall i think people like seeing big fish caught no matter how they get caught. When the top 10 has 30+ on day one people tune in.

FFS = Bigger bass caught Bigger bass caught = More interest More interest = More viewers
I'm neutral on the FFS debate. I see both sides of the argument.
However, if someone is into watching pro bass fishing, FFS makes it more exciting to watch imo.

It’s boring to watch on one hand but BASS does such a good job cutting away to which ever angler is catching a fish that its not terrible. The smallmouth tourneys up north are the worst I almost never watch them. When 100% of the field is doing FFS only the youngsters will be interested in it as they live and breathe video game stuff. Us old guys will just go fishing.

Milliken saved OH Ivie and looks like he will save BASS and Fork as well. He is almost like a saint sent from the heavens to rescue the fishing community

Those top guys were good and they were catching massive weights. The younger generation is a social media generation and fishing is huge right now at High school and College levels. They are gonna have a lot more family, friends, fellow students and others following them when they have a tournament like Fork was.

Record social media volumes don't really mean a lot when compared to past years. There are almost twice as many people on social media now than in 2017. Like saying there were a record number of people using computers in 1984 compared to 1980.

the reason there was more viewers is because it started in the middle of the week an tons of folks watched it while they were paid to do their jobs still nobody is going to be paying to watch it live.
