I see both sides of the argument. However, if someone is into watching pro bass fishing, FFS makes it more exciting to watch imo.

The smallmouth tourneys up north are the worst I almost never watch them. When 100% of the field is doing FFS only the youngsters will be interested in it as they live and breathe video game stuff. The younger generation is a social media generation and fishing is huge right now at High school and College levels. They are gonna have a lot more family, friends, fellow students and others following them when they have a tournament like Fork was.

There are almost twice as many people on social media now than in 2017. Like saying there were a record number of people using computers in 1984 compared to 1980.
