I did Costas. I actually just sent my older frames I wore all the time into Sport RX with my prescription and what lense color I wanted and they took care of it.

depending on your age, you might want to rethink that.. At 60 I bought pair of Maui Jims.. cost me 500 bucks.. an then a year later my eyes changed and now they are about useless.

Don't buy Wiley X Climb's if you have a boat. I bought them in prescription and loved them until I wore them running down the lake. When you take off they'll slide up your nose so far your eyelashes will be rubbing the lens and then once you are up to speed they head the other way and will slide off the end of your nose. If I didn't have a lanyard on them they'd already be at the bottom of a lake somewhere. I think I spent around $400 for them.
The best bang for the buck I've come across is REKS. I bought a pair of those and wear them running my boat in non prescription. They are about $75 a pair and the will run a BOGO deal ever so often. They sell them in prescription. Quality wise I'll put them up against anything out there. Their polarized fishing glasses are the best.
I bought a pair for both of my high school team guys and they can see fish chasing their lures when they are fishing spinnerbaits, shallow square bills, jerk baits, top waters, buzz baits, and such.
They also are a sponsor for the ABA tournaments, so they've got skin in our game.

Sofar I'm getting away with every other year. With our insurance the cost is about the same between my everyday bifocal transition glasses and the polarized bifocal and my perscription hasn't been changing that much from year to year. So one year fishing glasses next year daily glasses. Last 4 pairs I've been running Wiley x frames. Normally runs me about 250 for my part.

I have a big fat melon and a ton of correction in my glasses but want some prescription sunglasses. The glasses place said Oakleys and Maui Jim’s are my only options because my lenses are really thick. Was wanting Costas but no go.

Costas. Expensive but if you keep an eye on their website they have 50% off sales on the prescription lens.

I also bought a pair from Zenni Optical. You can pick frames then basically whatever you like for your lenses. Last pair I bought was $157.85

I have used WileyX for the past three or so years and love them. I even have the progressive lenses in them to where I can tie knots.
Framesdirect always has great deals on WileyX glasses and I have never had 1 problem with them doing them with my prescriptions.
Just make sure you do get them polarized or you are wasting your money.
